Sunday School classes meet at 10:20am following the traditional service on Sunday mornings.
NEW COUPLES CLASS (Couples, meeting in the Parlor)
Don't have a Sunday School class? Want to have a class where both you and your spouse can come and study together? Come join us in the4 Parlor. Our first study is titled "Dancing the Tango in an Earthquake" - real life stuff for couples who want to further their relationship with each other and with God. This class is hosted by Dana and jason Ternus.
ASBURY (Women, meeting in Room 209):
Using the United Methodist Adult Bible Series, this group of women explore the meaning of the Scriptures and see how they encourage a deeper faith commitment ot God. The fall study is "The New Testament Community." This class is led by Jo Rankin.
EMMAUS (Women, meeting in Room 205):
The book currently used by this group of women is “Five Practices of Fruitful Congregation,” written by Bishop Robert Schnase. The lessons look at how effective churches focus on a mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ and administer to the world. This class is led by Vicki Brod.
ADULT BIBLE STUDY (All adults, meeting in Room 203):
“Attitude is Your Paintbrush...It Colors Every Situation" is the title of the book currently under discussion by this class. In this book, popular author James W. Moore inspires readers to transform negative, pessimistic attitudes into positive, optimistic attitudes centered on the love and hope of Jesus Christ. As usual with Moore's books, it is insightful...meaningful...inspiring...and always interesting! This class is led by Bette McNeill.
WHAT'S HAPPENING IN A MAN'S WORLD? (Men, meeting in the Library):
This class men's class discusses theological issues and how they apply to daily life. This class is led by Bob Cooper.
CHRISTIAN ISSUES (All adults, meeting in Room 208):
This group of adults of all ages is using another James W. Moore book, "When You're a Christian, the Whole World is from Missouri." Discussions explore how to live a life of faith in a 'Show Me' World." This class is led by Dave and Jan McLaughlin.
PARENTING (Parents, meeting in Room 307):
Parents, of all ages, are welcome to this class to discuss various issues that deal with raising Christian children in today's world. This class is led by Deby and Jason Hull.
